Decision

Here and now I will take my stand. I will die with and for

my brothers and my sisters.

I will protect my soul from a shameful cooperation with cruelty.

No cruel or unusual punishments.

No cruel or unusual judgements.

No cruel or unusual insults.

No cruel or unusual dismissals.

No cruel or unusual laws.

No cruel or unusual policies.

No cruel or unusual entertainments.

No cruel or unusual words.

No cruel or unusual attitudes.

No cruel or unusual religion.

No cruelty.  No exceptions.

I have been born in the idea of freedom

and the guarantee of my freedom is

my decision to die in defense of yours.

My safety depends on you because you depend on me.

This is the marriage of love and reason.

Passionate commitment.

Whether with affection or not, no cruelty, nothing unusual.

Just the usual, the wisdom of endless contemplation.

We take our stand, here and now.

Our life and death are joined.

If you are not protected, I cannot be safe,

therefore I take my stand here and now.

We acknowledge the color of justice.

My guide is not emotion,

my acceptance of death is reasonable.

Thus I demand a reason to die.

One would rather die for a reason

than die for no reason at all.

A just cause is the most precious possession.

I will give away all that I possess,

but this one thing I will keep.

He gets accused.

He gets arrested.

He gets detained.

He gets processed.

He gets charged.

He gets his attorney.

He gets a trial by jury.

You are on trial today.

You claim to be a friend of The Judge.
